This is to notify for all concerned that online applications are invited from TET, 2014 qualified trained candidates of West Bengal seeking appointment for the of Assistant teachers against 16500 state wise vacancies in the Govt. Aiede/Sponsored Primary /Junior basis Schools. The selection and appointment of the candidate will be made in terms of West Bengal School Teachers Requirement Rules, 2016 as amended upto date and notified under No. 605-SE/EE/P)10M-6/09((Pt.VII) dtd. 22.12.2020

Vacancy : Total 16500 

Qualification : 

1. No person shall be appointed by the council as a teacher unless he is a citizen of India and has complited the age of 18 years age on 1st day January of the year of advt.  and has not complited the age of 40 years on the 1at day of January of the year of advt. 
2. The candidate shall possess the minimum educational and training qualification as prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education prevailing as on date of publication of recruitment notification .  AND
3. Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2014, conducted by the west Bengal board of Primary Education under the order of the Govt. of west Bengal in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.   AND
4. Ability to read ,write and speak in the language relating to the medium of schools for which the candidate wishes to apply 

Interview :After prima facie scrutiny of the duly filled application form submitted by the candidates having NCtE prescribed qualification and fulfilling the conditions prescribed in West Bengal Primary School Teachers Recruitment Rules ,2016 as amended upto date will be called for the viva -voca / Interview and Aptitude Test on and from 10.01.2021 to 17.01.2021 .

The eligible candidates will be intimated of their respective venues,date and time of their scrutiny/verification of the testimonials, viva-voca /Interview and aptitude Test in due course.

Application Fee : 200 for UR & OBC candidates 

                             50 for SC/ST/PH
